Are there side effects of taking C60 in Olive Oil?

No negative side effects of C60 in Olive Oil have been documented. However, C60 and Olive Oil do interact with each person differently, so you maybe want to adjust your dosage based on your experience.

Can I take more than the recommended dose?

Yes, many of our clients tell us they are taking more, sometimes significantly more, than 5ml per day. Some people in our office take as much as 15ml twice per day. For some, the issue is the quantity of Olive Oil. Please take what works with your body.

Do I need to take SES Research C60 in Olive Oil with food?

Olive Oil is a food, so it is not necessary to take C60 with additional food. However, no evidence shows that taking with food will reduce or enhance benefitsdy.

How do I store my C60 in olive oil?
We recommend storing it just like you would any other olive oil. Ideally in a dark, cool space. We don’t recommend putting it in the fridge since it tends to clump. If it does clump due to cold weather in transit, just leave it out at room temperature and the oil will return to its normal state.
How do you process the nanotubes?

Singlewall nanotube – SWNT
Multiwall nanotube – MWNT

When the material is made (as-produce) the nanotubes comes straight out of the reactor with the approximate concentration of 95% MWNT ( 90% in the case of SWNT) nanotube vs. non-nanotube material. These nanotubes are then processed and purified. This step yields an increase in purity of the tubes which are sold as “Purified Open Material”. This steps uses a Heat and Acid Wash process, which removes the non-nanotubic material. (Non-Nanotubic material is usually comprised of amorphous and graphitic carbon, and metal catalyst. Also process may shortens the nanotubes by “end eroding” during the acid wash which removes the ends caps of the nanotubes.
A summary of the steps follows:

  • Heat nanotubes in air to 300C to expose the carbon surface and oxidize the metal catalyst.
  • Sonicate and wash in nitric acid and/or HCL  to remove the metal catalyst, amorphous carbons and to open the ends of the nanotubes.
  • Clean with solvent and hot air dry.  (acetone, ether and etc.)
How much C60 in Olive Oil should I take?

The typical recommended dose is 5ml per day. Use the calculator online to get a more precise dose. https://www.sesres.com/dosage/

We tend to recommend a saturation month: double dose for the first month or saturation your next month.

How soon will I receive my order?
We have different shipping methods available at checkout. Orders are processed during our business hours Monday – Friday from 9 am to 5 pm CST. After you place an order it gets processed by our team 1-2 business days unless there is an issue with the order or shipping address. Ground shipping for cases takes 3-5 business days after it has been processed. Shipping for one or a few bottles takes about 2-3 business days after it has been processed. If you need it sooner please choose the expedited shipping option and leave a note in the checkout section of the order.

We tend to recommend a saturation month: double dose for the first month or saturation your next month.

How to determine the purity of the Nanotube?

To determine the purity of the nanotubes TGA gives a quantitative analysis of the level of concentration of up to 98% nanotubes and if necessary we can reprocess the tubes to achieve the proper purity level and metal content < .2%. by weight* We also use SEM and TEM to view and evaluated the material. Typically, SEM is used to evaluate the raw, as produce, Nanotubes and TEM is used to evaluate the purified nanotubes. Not every batch is tested due to cost and test equipment availability, but tests are ordered when processes are changed. *(Care must be taken when weighting the ash/metal content of the Nanotube in the TGA, the metal catalyst Nickel tends to form NiO2 in the TGA. This can offset the actual weight of the metal through the addition of the oxygen.)

We tend to recommend a saturation month: double dose for the first month or saturation your next month.

Is C60 in Olive Oil safe for human consumption (edible)?
We sell several different qualities of C60. ESS60 is C60 that has been processed for safer human consumption however it has not been tested on humans.

Any C60 that is lower than 99.95% purity is not recommended for human consumption and is for industrial purposes.

There’s an article available (The prolongation of the lifespan of rats by repeated oral administration of [60]fullerene – ScienceDirect) that suggest Carbon 60 dissolved in extra virgin olive oil works for anti-aging. The reports indicate it was successfully tested on rats and the rats that received the treatment lived twice as long as rats without the treatment.

What about the taste of C60 in Olive Oil?

Some people love the taste of Olive Oil. Quality Extra Virgin Olive Oil will leave a peppery aftertaste at the back of your throat and a small number of people do not like this taste/experience. The good thing is, if you eat or drink anything, the taste goes away immediately. Additionally, if you do not like the taste you can take the product with bread or on salads, or just get creative.

What are the health benefits of Carbon 60 (C60) in Olive Oil?

A number of people started taking C60 in oil in 2012 when the original study was published. Those people were looking for the benefit of a longer lifespan. Then something exciting happened. Those people started to report some significant health benefits.

What does the purity mean (99.5%, 99.9%, 99.95%, 99.99%)?

The pure Carbon Fullerenes that come out of our reactor after chemical extraction of the raw material will contain:

  • Carbon 60 (C60)
  • Carbon 70 (C70)
  • Carbon 76 (C76)
  • Carbon 78 (C78)
  • Carbon 84 (C84), etc.

These are the pure Fullerene molecule spheres, and each will have its own properties and different concentration in the Raw Fullerene Soot.  After further processing and refinement, the individual fraction of C60 and C70 is isolated into a powder of different purity levels.

So, when we express the purity of the Carbon 60 99.5 percent, it will contain a minimum of 99.5% C60 and less than 0.499% C70, C76, C78, C84 and higher.

Then C60 99.99% will contain less than 0.001% of C70, C76/C78, C84.

Example: 100 grams of C60- 99.5% with contain a minimum of 99.5 grams of C60 and less than 0.4999 grams of C70, C78, C76, C84 and higher.

The testing of the purity is performed using a High Pressure/Performance Liquid Chromatography technique in which the Carbon Fullerene sample is dissolved back into solvent and tested for its purity.

Lastly, the VOD grade goes through additional processing to remove the solvents out of the C60.

The solvent will consist of Toluene, Hexanes, and Benzene.

What is the difference between the Original grade and Fine grade?

Both products have the same amount of concentration of the 99.99% purity C60. The Original Grade uses a olive oil that is easily found in your local grocery store. The Fine Grade uses an olive oil that is imported from Greece and has been found to have more antioxidants. Our customers also report a better taste in this one vs the original grade.

What is the Solubility of PCBM?

Results show that approximately 9-10 mg can at maximum be dissolved per mL of toluene at room temperature, when stirring the solution for a long time (several days). After that time, the dark red-brown solution is (almost) clear/transparent, meaning that the material has fully dissolved. We can, however, not exclude that some of it is still present as un-dissolved nanoparticles, which are not seen by the eye, nor can be easily filtered out.
Sonification may lead to a higher solubility, however, may also lead to more of these nanoparticles.

When heated, e.g. at 50 degrees C, more PCBM can be dissolved in toluene. Upon cooling to room temperature, the PCBM does not precipitate directly, but stays in solution for at least several hours. Thus, a supersaturated solution can be obtained.

PCBM is better soluble in so-called good fullerene solvents, such as chlorobenzene and ODCB. In the latter solvent, 50 mg/mL solutions can be made without too much trouble.
